Clark D. Weidaw, MD
Dr. Clark Weidaw has been certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since 1977, and has practiced ophthalmology in Maumee, Ohio since 1978. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from General Motors Institute and subsequently received his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in 1972. After serving his internship at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Dr. Weidaw returned to Toledo and the Medical College of Ohio to complete his ophthalmology residency (serving as Chief Resident) in 1976. From 1976 to 1978, Dr. Weidaw fulfilled his military obligation by serving as the Chief of Ophthalmology at the Naval Regional Medical Center in Corpus Christi, Texas.
As one of the most respected ophthalmologists and LASIK surgeons in the Toledo, Ohio area, Dr. Weidaw is Chief of Ophthalmology at St. Luke's Hospital in Maumee, Ohio. In addition, he has surgical privileges at Flower Hospital and St. Anne Mercy Hospital.
Dr. Weidaw's training, specifically in the area of refractive surgery, has been with some of the most highly respected practitioners in the United States and Europe: Dr. Charles Casebeer of Phoenix, Arizona; Dr. John Hunkeler of Kansas City, Missouri; Dr. John Marshall of London, England; and Dr. Theo Seiler of Berlin, Germany. Kristopher J. Kelly, MD
Dr. Kristopher J. Kelly is a native of the Toledo area. He grew up in Perrysburg, Ohio and attended Lake Local Schools for his primary education. He completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Integrated Life Sciences at Kent State University, in Kent, Ohio. Dr. Kelly then attended Northeastern Ohio University's College of Medicine, where he was awarded his medical degree. He went on to complete his medical internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and his residency in ophthalmology at The Ohio State University Medical Center.
Dr. Kelly is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and provides a full spectrum of eye care including small-incision cataract surgery, refractive surgery including LASIK and surface treatments, medical and surgical glaucoma care, pediatric eye care, therapeutic oculoplastics, and treatment of diabetic retinopathy. He has surgical privileges at St. Luke’s Hospital, Flower Hospital, and St. Anne Mercy Hospital. Dr. Kelly is excited about returning to the Toledo area, and he welcomes new patients of all ages.
Jeffrey S. Lauf, OD
Optometrist Dr. Jeffrey Lauf is a native of Napoleon, Ohio. He completed his undergraduate studies at Bowling Green State University in Ohio and then graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. Dr. Lauf completed several internships in the Chicago area. Currently, he is board-certified in Ohio and a member of the Ohio Optometric Association. Dr. Lauf has practiced at Maumee Eye Clinic since 1988. His professionalism and caring manner are appreciated by all who come into contact with him.
